Calculate your overtime pay after tax and national insurance deductions.
This site contains several tools to allow you to calculate your take home pay:
The overtime calculator allows you to see how much overtime will increase your take home pay. This will give you a better idea of whether an offer of overtime is worth your time and effort.
The take home calculator allows you to enter your annual salary, to see what your take home pay is over the course of a week, month, and year.
The unpaid leave calculator allows you to see how much any unpaid hours will reduce your take home pay
If you can think of any other tools that would be useful to you, please make a suggestion in the form below.
This website was created by Jason Hobson, a part time student of the Open University.
The Overtime Calculator was created primarily as a learning project, to continue learning between academic years.
Creating the Overtime Calculator gave me the opportunity apply some of the knowledge I have gained while studying for a Computing and IT bachelors degree, and also experience some things which were not taught, such as purchasing a domain name, using Amazon Web Services, and also attempting some SEO.
While every attempt has been made to make this website as accurate and bug free as possible, there may be some inaccuracies or bugs which I have missed. If you discover any, or wish to provide feedback, please use the form below to get in touch. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
